1938 Wilson Patent Walker

The 1938 Wilson Patent describes a simple walking toy similar to the to the one shown in inset A to the right. Many `Wilson Walkies' were commercially produced about half a century ago but they are becoming rarer as time passes. The goal of the project is to design an easily reproducible realization of the `Wilson Walkie'. The parts contained in the CAD model are intended to be immediately ready for assembly and use after being printed by a rapid prototyping routine. The success of the walker is demonstrated in the video.
