4. The
VHS tapes were digitized using Canopus ADVC300 + Software Picture
Motion Controller300 S/W that ships with ADVC. QTPro + iMac was used to
download the tape. For the digital tapes, the camcorder was directly
connected to iMac and downloaded using QTPro. Typically a 2 hr movie is
about 26GB big.
5. Compression was done using QTPro. Two types of compressions were chosen. High (For achiving) and Low (for streaming).
